India Community Center
There are many JCCs (Jewish Community Center) in all areas
of the US, but so far only one ICC. The Indian Community Center
came into being in July 2003 with the efforts of the Godhwani
brothers, Anil and Gautam, first generation Indians and
successful entrepreneurs, whose foray into the non-profit world
began with the launch of the India Community Center.
Today ICC is the largest Indian-American community center
in North America serving the San Francisco Bay Area from its
primary 20,000 square foot location in Milpitas and a smaller
satellite center in Sunnyvale. The endeavor has been
so successful and appreciated by the community, that a new
40,000 square foot location has been purchased and will
be replacing the old Milpitas location in July of this year.
The center is one-of-a-kind in the US Indian community,
nonpolitical and non-denominational, with over 2500 members and
a full-time staff to serve their growing needs. The ICC offers
